INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Instructor of the Year |
Open to any group exercise instructor teaching any style of group exercise that is pre-choreographed, freestyle, mind-body or aqua. An award will be presented to both a male and a female. Prize for each, $1000 voucher from The ICONIC. |
Personal Trainer of the Year |
Open to any personal trainer (either as a contractor or an employee) or PT business owner operating in Australia. An award will be presented to both a male and a female. Prize for each, $1000 voucher from Iron Edge. |
Student of the Year |
The student must be studying (full or part-time) for a vocational or tertiary fitness qualification within the award year. Prize, $1000 prize pack from Reebok. |
Fitness Educator of the Year |
Open to any teacher, lecturer, mentor, presenter or educator in the fitness industry over the past 12 months. Self-nominations allowed. |
Club Manager of the Year |
Open to a person who is managing a fitness facility in Australia. Self-nominations allowed. Prize, $1000 prize pack from Reebok. |

BUSINESS AWARDS
Boutique Fitness Business of the Year |
For boutique, specialist businesses offering a fitness service that is specified in one service |
Multi-service Business of the Year |
For gyms, fitness centres and clubs, business and facilities providing multiple services members. |
Quality Accredited Fitness Business of Year |
Open to quality accredited businesses only. The business that receives the highest accreditation score wins. No extra nomination required. Assessed by Improvement Foundation and endorsed by the Fitness Industry Standards Council and Fitness Australia board. This is the highest award for businesses. |

COMMUNITY AWARDS
Mental Health Awareness Program of the Year |
Open to any individual or business offering exercise programs to better support members mental health and education. |
Community Innovation of the Year |
Open to businesses making a positive impact in getting more people, more active, more often. The business contributes to supporting active communities, safe and connected communities, accessible and inclusive communities, encourages participation and collaboration between the industry and community groups, and promotes participation in sport, recreation, and community. |
